No one got murdered at Gitmo. Thats just one of those assertions that has absolutely no basis whatsoever in fact. But it is an assertion that the left has always repeated because the goal is to create an image of Gitmo that people will despise. The press has gone there. Never happened. Not murder. If murder had EVER happened there every Democrat would be holding a press conference about it. The legal army attached to the detainees would be holding press conferences. the Soros army would already have printed Free Muhammad bumper stickers. Yet you want to believe it.
I finally figured out what the Gitmo thing is all about. The left, which wants America to lose every time we go to war (OK, name one war they have ever supported), wants to funnel the whole POW issue into federal courts spo the entire process can be mutated into an anti-american show. Mussaoui case took two years. Dragged on at least 23 months longer than evidence arriving at judgement should have taken. They want the obstruction tactics in federal courts that have mass murderers unpunished after 30 years due to delays. The military tribunals do not allow the same shennanigans and grandstanding that a liberal judge will tolerate in the name of "fairness". The tribunals allow the evidence but protect needed sources which federal courts dont allow because they are unconcerbned with national security. Again look at the Mussaoui case. Look at the original WTC 93 case. Read MCcarthys book about it.
You keep wanting to make a martyr out of Tiller. he isnt. You do so using anomolistic theoreticals that frankly dont exist in any number that warrants achievement of the weight of evidence. You dont allow hundreds to die by convenience because there can be pointed at an anomolie. This has always been a strategy in the tactical approach of the left to raise the anomolie to the standard. Babies killed by LTA HAVE brains. The brains are sucked out and the skull crushed to allow for evacuation of the baby. And by then its no foetus, it is a baby. But let me ask this. There is no proceedure more due processed than a death penalty case that goes to execution. There is no execution carried out with LESS due process than an abortion. There are always anomolies.
Lastly you say that my view seems to equate "torture" as a juvenile prank. Thats simply because what is in most of the pics from Graib are no differernt than the ones you see when they bust some college frat or soccer team hazing. Including the forced nudity and the barking dogs. Look at the parameters I offered. As for psychological torture. That starts with simple incarceration and the unpleasantness of any prison. I was further struck during the campaign how Obamas idea of funding the terror war was "more first responders" not preventing the event in the first place. Not preventing it in the firts place is what happens when you dont get the information.
