When you're posting, if you want an icon for the topic, select one of the ones in the row below the "Post As:" line. It defaults to none.
If you want a title, put it in the text box to the left of "Title:"
The cool stuff is in the line below the Title line:
From left to right:
If you want different colored text, select from the "Color" drop down menu
You can change the size of your text with the "Size" drop down menu.
If you want to use a different font, select from the "Font" drop down menu.
I'm not sure what the "F" does, but the label says "font"
Click "B" if you want bold text.
Click "I" for italics.
Click "U" for underlined text.
Click "T" for struckthrough text.
the next symbol is for horizontal rule
the 3 symbols after that are for left, center & right justification
the quotes are to do a quote
the icon after that is for an unordered list and the next one is an ordered list
The next one is an arrow and is for a link. Press it ant you'll be asked for the URL. Once you put that in the text box and click "OK",
you'll be asked for the text you want to appear.
the icon after that is a picture & is for images. You can choose from images you've saved here or hit the "ADD FROM URL" button and give the
URL of the image you want to post.
the circle over a square is labeled "photobucket" It's a shorter way to post an image from an URL. You press it & a dialog box appears asking
for the URL of the image. Add it, click OK & you're cool.
The "smiley" icon gives you a menu of various emoticons.
The next icon is to imbed video.
the next icon (HT over ML) is labeled switch mode. I pressed it and nothing happened.
the checkmark icon with ABC over it is spellcheck.
the triangle pointing up is shrink
the triangle pointing down is expand
the icon with a triangle pointing up atop a triangle pointing down is "fit"
not sure what these apply to.
I'll play with them sometime when I have time.
