Members of the sect, including Tom Ammiano, Milkcluber, and Westside Progressive, among others, have repeatedly made excuses for Daly's foul behavior.

Milkcluber claims it is irrelevant to point out these facts.

why is it that crip denies me my rightful place in the sect?... why is it only milkclubber, wp and tom ammiano who are so honored?... i have defended chris daly on multiple occasions (inluding just this past weekend - in reference to his ballot measure to close marker street to all but muni, pedestrians and bicycles)... hell, i've even defended daly's WIFE... i've defended ammiano, even worked on his campaigns... must i seek an opinion from my barrister?... i demand to be acknowledged for my rightlful place in the sect, or, regrettably, i shall have to pursue legal avenues... (and, it's not "foul" behavior but "passionate" behavior)...

Over the years, you, Ammiano, and Westside Progressive have repeatedly made excuses for Chris Daly's foul behavior. Ammiano has done so in comments to the press. You and Westside Progressive have done so on chatboards.

However, if you've changed your mind about Daly, and are now ready to rebuke him for his foul behavior, this is your golden opportunity to do so. Go right ahead. We're all ears.

(By the way, whatever happened to your claim that my posts are irrelevant?)

Mr. Nevius is steaming mad at SFist's number-one fan, Chris Daly. Why? Well, it seems that the altruistic SF Supervisor - kissed by the lips of God himself! - made a civic-minded teen cry. C.W. reports that during last week's Board of Supes meeting, "Amanda Wong, a junior at Lowell High, waited two hours for her chance at the podium during the public comment period, but was so frustrated when Daly first cut her time to one minute, then got up and left when she started to speak, that she burst into tears." Aw. Wong explained her emotional outburst, saying she "didn't mean to cry...I just kind of lost it. I thought they were supposed to listen to us." (Isn't that adorable?) Later on in the meeting, Bevan Dufty made some sort of dramatic exit, storming out of the room in a fit. Fierce. Update: Nevius is wrong? Daly responds via a delicious email chain. Nice.

Ripped from today's headlines, here is the actual footage of Amanda Wong turning on the water works during last week's Board of Supervisors meeting. (Thanks Auweia1!) As you know by now, Chis Daly might or might not have had something to do with the nubile, barely-legal teen's small breakdown. We honestly can't tell. Or bring ourselves to care all that much.

Anyway, keep fighting the good fight for the black rhinos, Amanda!

I went over to a friend's house. He has the latest version of Microsoft Media Player, and so I was able to watch the video of the hearing. Mostly, I moved to the parts where Chris Daly was speaking.

I hope every San Franciscan gets to see these scenes. Let people make up their own minds.
